The Google Italia offices buzzed with energy as over sixty TIM colleagues came together for an intense, two-day HackFest, aimed at tackling a critical challenge: fraud detection.
Organized by Google Cloud Italia in collaboration with Datwave, a BIP company and BIP‘s Center of Excellence, Complexity and Collaboration Officina, this event was more than just a competition; it was a showcase of innovation, teamwork, and the practical application of cutting-edge Google Cloud technologies.
Eight teams, driven by a shared goal, immersed themselves in a high-pressure environment to devise the most effective solutions for fraud detection. This HackFest marked the culmination of a comprehensive training program focused on the vast potential of Google Cloud’s data and tools. Participants had the opportunity to apply their newfound knowledge to real-world scenarios, testing their skills in a competitive yet collaborative setting.
